Greek Chicken wrap is marinated chicken, lemony rice and greek salad veggies in a tomato basil wrap.
Very popular and actually the heftiest of all of our family group sandwiches.

4/19 Friday Lasagna

Lasagna and baci rolls will be served. This is cheese lasagna that is made here at McGillis and wow is it popular. Asparagus and then broccoli will be served as a side option. This is not a low calorie meal and rest assured that we limit the amount of lasagna that the students are served. We redirect those that are still hungry after their first helpings to the fruit and salad bar.

Thursday 4/18 Chili beans and cornbread

Chili beans were served with cornbread today. As the picture shows, cheese and a few frito corn chips are offered as toppings. This chili is delicious and nutritious. Three types of beans and peppers, and onions, tomatoes and spices make up this soup.

caprese sandwich

                                                        Family group lunch Monday
                                                               Caprese sandwich

We are excited to return to family group lunches.   Because  W.O.W.  required sack lunches we decided that family group lunches should be on hold until W.O.W. was over.

Caprese sandwiches are a great sandwich to start with, because all most everybody loves them.
What's not to love?  Fresh mozzarella cheese, ripe tomatoes, fresh basil and balsamic vinegar on delicious crusty bread.

Bagel sandwich

                                                               Bagel sandwich
Today's entree was bagels with or without cream cheese. We  bake and smear the bagels.  Pickles, red onions, cucumbers, bell peppers, lettuce and tomatoes are all available to add to the sandwiches. Usually pretzels or chips are served as a side to the bagels as most of us like something salty with our sandwich.
